1994-1995 Research Fellow, United Nations International Institute for Software Technology (UNU/IIST); From 1997 to 2007, Dr. He Weidong was the senior architect of control system of HUSKY Injection Molding Machine ltd, a world-renowned manufacturer of injection molding machines. Dr. He Weidong presided over and developed a new generation of Beckhoff PC-based HUSKY injection molding machine control system, which is still a good product in the field of injection molding machines worldwide.
In 2003, He founded a Software company in Canada, Dragonfly Automation Software Inc. (DAS Automation Software Company), and the research and development team led by Dr. He Weidong developed the first generation of open modern human-computer interaction automation software development platform DHMI, which has been widely praised in the North American industry. And with ABB, Siemens, Boeing, Bosch Rexroth and other world advanced enterprises to establish long-term strategic partnerships, its research and development technology is still in use today. Under the DHMI platform, Dr. He Weidong led the development of high-speed injection molding machine control system, various machine tool control solutions for motion control (involving plastic and steel processing equipment, grinder PCB, edge grinding, satellite printing equipment, robot control system).
In 2009, he joined ATS, an automation company specializing in machine vision, solar energy and auto parts processing.
DAS China was established in Xi 'an in 2012.
In 2013, Dobot Robot Technology was established in Changzhou, focusing on intelligent manufacturing equipment and aiming at automatic grinding robots for castings.
In recent years, Dr. He Weidong has focused on the development and application of industrial software, industrial mother-machine, machine vision and artificial intelligence, and many of its technologies have solved many problems, such as the multi-axis linkage interpolation accuracy problem, post-processing unified model problem, which has been strongly supported and recognized by The State Council and governments at all levels.
